Mycotoxins are a naturally occurring toxin produced by certain molds as they metabolize food sources. On average 25% of the worlds crops are contaminated by mold or fungal growth, making mycotoxin screening an important part of quality assurance testing on agricultural and food products.
At IFSD we can test for the following mycotoxins via LC/MS/MS:
- Aflatoxin B1, B2, G1, G2
- Deoxynivalenol (DON)
- Fumonisin B1 & B2
- Ochratoxin A & B
- T-2 & HT-2 Toxins
- Zearalenone (ZON)
